Qualification:
- For Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno): Intermediate (10+2) Passed and should have Shorthand @ 80 w.p.m in English / in Hindi in 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes / in Hindi in 65 minutes, on computer.
- For Head Constable (Ministerial): Intermediate (10+2) Passed and should have 35 w.p.m typing speed in English / 30 w.p.m in Hindi
- For Head Constable (Radio Operator): Intermediate (10+2) Pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks in PCM subject. OR Matriculation (10th) passed. Two years Certificate from ITI in Radio and Television / Electronics / Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Data Preparation & Computer Software / General Electronics / Data Entry Operator.
- For Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): Intermediate (10+2) Pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks in PCM subject. OR Matriculation (10th) passed. - For ASI (Steno): 29200 – Rs. 92300/-
- For Head Constable: Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/-
